New to Javascript? Want to make your life a little easier? Well then, welcome to Javascript Frameworks! As said by GeeksforGeeks, “A well-chosen framework can make the work far easier. What’s more, they ‘re free and open-source, so there’s no risk in trying, now is there?”

But what is a Javascript framework? Javascript frameworks are libraries of prewritten Javascript code to use for routine programming features and tasks.

Now let’s divine into some of the most popular Javascript Frameworks out there right now!

1) React

React, one of the most popular JS Framework is created and maintained by Facebook. It is used to develop and operate the dynamic User Interface of the web pages with high incoming traffic. Some of its features:

  • Declarative Create interactive UI Design simple views for each state in your application and efficiently update and render just the right components using React. Declarative views make your code more predictable and easier to debug.
  • Unidirectional data flow only supports downstream or upstream data flow which makes the logic more predictable and easier to understand.
  • LOWA or Learn Once, Write Anywhere helps you to develop new features in React without rewriting existing code.

2) Vue

Vue is an open-source Progressive JavaScript Framework for building creative UI and high-end single-page Web applications. Vue is designed to be incrementally adoptable which gives easy integration into projects that use other JavaScript libraries.

  • Progressive: it gives you the power to plug into any web app that is running on any other framework, without making any changes.
  • Beginner-friendly: Vue is the best framework to start building web applications if you already know some HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Reactive: it is a fast and responsive framework which takes the user input, regardless of network speed or latency.

3) Angular

AngularJS is a structural framework for dynamic web apps. It lets you use HTML as your template language and lets you extend HTML’s syntax to express your application’s components clearly and succinctly.

  • MVC architecture or Model-View-Controller architecture is one of the most essential features of AngularJS, which is divided into three elements (the Model, View, and Controller) to simplify both the development and the testing of single-page applications.
  • Two-way binding is a very useful feature of Angular which helps to build a link between Model and View, in which the View reflects changes made in the Model and vice-versa.
  • Incredible Tools of Angular are very useful to increase your productivity focus on building amazing apps. Command-line tools help to build, test, then instantly deploy. use simple and powerful template syntax to create UI views and Get intelligent code completion, instant errors, and other feedback in almost every IDEs.

Now that we’ve learned a little about Javascript Frameworks and some that are out there, how will we choose one?

  1. Which is the most popular? Based on NPM downloads, React remains the most downloaded framework out of the three over the years

2. Which is the easiest to learn? Vue is considered the easiest to learn due to its flexibility. However, due to its simplicity and flexibility — it allows poor code, making it difficult to debug and test.

3. And one of the most important factors — what are employers looking for? Based on job postings for React, Angular and Vue developers — React and Angular developers seems to be more sought after.

Of course there isn’t one right answer, so choose based on your own personal preference and needs!
